How do I choose an NLP Certification? Am confused!!!

The market is full of products with different price range. Cars can start for as low as 1 lac to higher limits, mere middle class can't afford in their lifetime. The logic still applies when you even do an MBA course or any other courses. Companies recruits various levels of recruits from Tier III to Tier I which would allocate salary packages based on which Tier they are recruited from. We all know that not all cars are priced the same or all courses the same. Here's the logic for pricing.

However, when it comes to pricing certain courses in India the comparison has always been on pricing and not on the quality. I have been trying to promote a $2000-$3000 course in India at 1/3 of it's International price and have been witnessing a strong resistance even at that discount. I do not believe in squandering money on large advertisement but mostly on my promoting it within my network and circles.

Most of my programs sell based on "word of mouth" referrals. But many consumers

are blown away by cash spent ads and paid promotions. They don't mind coughing up extra cash that has gone in the payment of ads or human resource management. Looks like projection is perception to them. Although in Neuro Semantics NLP we believe, perception is a meta choice we have, as we allow it to be selectively mapped into our neurology.

We delete, distort and generalize information from the outside world and form our own perception. Perception can be a selective choice if we so desire. We can do so, when we become aware of our awarenesses. The Meta state experience of being able to step out of our primary mind body experience and jump several logical levels up, can help us make wise choices in how we interpret things in our mind.

Buyers need to beware of ads in this world of SEOs, adsense, flashy websites, CRMs, paid Customer care numbers and even hi-fi hotels for venues as all of these will be billed on the consumers' cheque. All these technology friendly advertisements are fine but does not mean 100% assurance on the quality of products, programs or services you're about to invest in. Marketing is a must but how it's done will surely end up being billed into the consumer's pocket.

The wisest or most happiest are not found in palaces or well googled paged. They seldom are easy to find. They are like gems and hard to find, coz they don't believe in extravagance and too much of self promotion. Your Grandma might be wiser and insightful than even the CEO you serve, or your next cubicle employee mate with a mere graduation might be more skillful and wiser than that elite trained MBA guys from IIM or Harvard. The point is, if you need to buy a gem, ask around. If it's an international product don't just ask around how the quality is from people who don't know. Ask from people who bought it or used it both within and outside India. Do some research. Don't be lazy. It's your money, spend wisely.

Let me now compare Meta NLP with other NLP that runs in the country. I know my competitors might be pissed off reading this post. Meta NLP is a trademark of the International Society of Neuro Semantics(ISNS) in the US. Meta NLP is considered as NLP 2.o or upgraded version of NLP. When it comes to the studies of advance NLP, great minds in the field of NLP will always recommend the book of Dr.Michael Hall Ph.D as he is synonymous with high quality certification and advance forms of NLP Training. Most NLP trainings never upgraded beyond the mid 1980, and stucked their methods to therapeutic models of interventions. Most Trainers certify their NLP trainings in India operate with half baked and obsolete knowledge in the field of developmental psychology and self actualization psychology.

Most of the old NLP ways are refuted in our Neuro Semantics trainings. We self assess and self correct our model of the NLP world. If we find something is outdated and non-scientific we discard it and go forward with newer and more robust models for human transformation. One example is the over emphasis of the sub modalities which is taught for days in many NLP institutes without understanding the importance of the semantics that makes the difference.

Indeed, with my years of experience in the field of Neuro Semantics-NLP, I've come to believe Neuro Semantics has completely swallowed NLP. However, we do like to give credit to where our foundations originated and not take a different path. Even right now leaders like Dr.Michael Hall and other like minded NLP camps are making efforts to bring the different camps of NLP under one platform for more accountability, ethics, scientific practices and collaboration with their annual NLP Conference in London. If you would like to know how to choose an NLP course, click here read this first. Can't help blurting out a few warning bells. Beware of frauds who will not give you Society certificates but of their own and still claiming it to be a Practitioner course. Beware of frauds who will actually not give you any certificate. Beware of those societies who are self founded with stolen logos of international societies. Beware of those who teach you a 3 days content and stretch it for 7 days and call it a Practitioner ..hahaha. Just becareful.

Romeo Haokip is a trained NLP Trainer from Dr.Michael Hall Ph.D and licensed by the International Society of Neuro Semantics, which has its presence in over 40 countries around the world. His institute is one of the only 2 authorized licensing centers in India.
